God is a Keeper! What a tremendous year this has been for Company Keepers! We praise the Lord for His sustaining
power. We have been blessed to reach over 2,000 readers worldwide. Glory to God! We are so blessed to "keep
company" with you every month.

Company Keepers was birthed out of a desire to see dance ministries support one another through the sharing of the
Word concerning dance, attending local/national/international dance conferences, and supporting one another in
ministry outreach. We must come together in agreement. Will will not compete. We will not envy. We will move together
in Him for the advancement of His Kingdom. Am I my brother's keeper?
YES- I am!

I thank each and every writer who has contributed articles to Company Keepers over the past year: Sherry Traylor,
Sandra Davis, Grace Schraner, LaVetta C. Williams, Marlita Hill, Machelle Lewis-Foster, Alesia McCrary, Robin Deane,
Sally Reynolds, Yvonne Owens, and Tonika Goode. A very special thanks to each and every reader of Company
Keepers! This would not be able to grow without you.

Thanks for the many testimonies given throughout the year that serve to encourage and push us to excel. We are
humbled to serve you in this capacity. All praise for this endeavor belongs to God!
A Dance Leader’s Responsibility
“Help, that dancer drives me crazy!"
by Robin Deane
Robin Deane attends West Angeles Church of God in Christ where she  serves as Leader for the Adult Dance Ministry.  She also founded The Victory
Dance Ministry, Inc., a citywide outreach dance ministry that reaches out to young girls by teaching, equipping and training them for ministry.
The Bible tells me that we are all ministers. We all should have the desire to serve in some capacity in the Body of Christ. Some
are called to walk beside Pastors, Bishops, Elders, Teachers, and YES- Dance Ministers! Let us not forget the direction in which
God has placed us. I have found in being a Minister of Helps, it is truly my desire to be a watchman. This ministry by no means is
to be taken lightly. I believe there has to be someone in the background that has a heart to truly support the vision, ministry, and
calling of God-ordained leadership, and to make sure that it is birthed out. Yes, through some tears (not yours)- the Minister's
tears- you're there to wipe them and stand watch to make sure the dagger doesn’t make contact. As an Armor Bearer, you may
play the part of a buffer.
Stay prayed up and focused in what the servant leader is attempting to minister at that time. Fast -not for
yourself - but for the leader under which you serve.

Please allow me to briefly lay a foundation for what God has shared with me about being a Armor Bearer:

As a Minister of Helps, is very important (because we are not often in the front line) to watch and pray. Make it your business to
know what is taking place in the spiritual realm where you have been called to assist. Pray for the strength of the Minister you
assist in serving. Not laboring for yourself- but laboring for others- that strongholds be destroyed! My God! Being anointed to be a
part of the Ministry of Helps is awesome, because everything that is connected to Jesus does not go unrewarded. Please know
this and be encouraged.

In assisting with ministry, I have discovered that if you are not prayed up and step into unknown territory, you can come up
wounded with no one to blame but yourself. I have found in dealing with some Ministry Leaders, that they believe that they can shift
the atmosphere alone, without someone watching and interceding for them. Please know there are too many Dance Ministers out
there getting wounded because no one is bearing arms for them. When someone steps up to the plate, if God has truly sent them
and you have prayed for them, do not turn them away! Trust and believe that our Father would not send you into the battlefield
without the right armor. Remember-- we have to pull down strongholds! Ministering without support is like going into war without
any line of defense. Put on the whole armor of God.

We also have to remember in choosing an Armor Bearer to "try the spirit by the Spirit." Being an Armor Bearer can mean stepping
into a realm that you might not have ever been in. God has prepared you for such a time as this. No, I’m not saying that everyone
who comes to you and says that they want to bear your arms was sent. Let’s first see some fruit! Say something that only me and
my Father have talked about that bears witness to my spirit.

Let me be real right here: If you come to me saying, "God sent me," I know there is something else brewing, not ministry… Just
because you see an anointing on someone does not mean that you are to be attached to them.

Pray and be led by the Spirit before approaching any servant leader. In all things, we must show and have love. I think that the
Spirit should bear witness when we are dealing with one another in ministry, especially in a worship setting. In this setting we can
usher in the Spirit, or we can run Him out of town. Sometimes as an Armor Bearer, you will have to lift up your Dance Minister in
prayer to make sure that they are able to complete the assignment for which they were sent. Please check your attitude at the
door. This is ministry and we should desire the saving of souls, healing, deliverances and the like-- NOT exalting ourselves. Let’s
be about our Father's business!

May is upon us. We celebrate springtime, the blossoming of flowers, and the
turning of seasons. We also in this month celebrate the joy and beauty of
Mother's Day and the beauty of being a woman. However, not all women
enjoy and celebrate the gift of being female. Some are so engrossed in pain
and embarrassment that the very thought of being a woman or being a
mother sickens them. Their jaded pasts and actions forced upon them
because of unfortunate circumstances cause some of our dear sisters to
hide and lament. Most of their pain is hidden, never to be seen by others.
Too embarrassed to speak, too ashamed to talk, they traverse daily never
sharing their experiences for fear of ostracism.

Question: Where can you go and get a master class in dance production and be in the company of dance, music, vocal,
audio, stage, video and camera professionals and charged only to give God the glory? Answer: The
Azusa Street
Centennial
, in Los Angeles, California held April 24th - April 29th to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the Azusa
Street Revival in which William J. Seymour allowed God to use him to usher in a revival of Pentecost as recorded in Acts
1 and 2.

One Hundred and Twenty dancers were asked to participate in the Azusa Street Centennial Assembly held at the Los
Angeles Sports Arena to conclude the Centennial Celebration on Saturday, April 29th at 1:00 pm.

As God would have it, dancers and actors from various ethnic groups (Asian, Black, Hispanic, Jewish, and White) took
advantage of this significant opportunity to dramatically reenact the historic account of the disciples in the upper room
waiting to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and to represent every nation on earth filled with the Spirit. Some of the
participants could speak no English, but this did not seem to be a problem.

This “master class” met for rehearsal every night, sacrificing the opportunity to attend worship services with some
legendary greats of Christianity such as: Prophetess Juanita Bynum, David Younggi Cho, Kenneth and Gloria
Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Benny Hinn, Judy Jacobs, TD Jakes, Ron Kenoly, Terry MacAlmon, Smoky Norful, Fred Price,
Paula White, Marvin Winans, Robert Stearns, Darlene Zschech, and the list goes on and on...

The emphasis of this presentation that opened the concluding Centennial celebration was that the fire of the Holy Spirit
was poured out on every nation— all languages, creeds, and people. None was left out as every nation’s flag was
paraded around the arena to the song “We Speak to Nations,” and a costume from every nation worn by a dancer
celebrated in African, Asian, and Spanish movement during “To You Belong All the Nations.”

The master in charge of the production, Yvonne Peters, along with her faithful assistants Teresa Gardner, Jeane
Mabry, Linda, and others, did a fantastic job of handling all the dancers, actors, costumes, and fire silks as they guided
and directed. Praying and blessing the group, they continually kept Christ and the fire of the Holy Spirit as the focus.

It was truly a production of the Word put together by the Holy Ghost, which demonstrated all the nations praising and
worshiping God together on one accord. It gave us a glimpse of the Body and what it might be like in heaven when we’ll
all be together— every tongue, every tribe, and every nation— bowing at the thrown and worshipping the King of Glory!
I wish I could have seen it for myself, but because I was a participant,  others described to me how they were touched
and how they felt when they saw all the nations worshiping together as it were, at the feet of Jesus.

Hi Rekesha, how are you? I read and heard ALL of the issues in one sitting. What a wonderful resource. I don't
often have time to read so much (other than the Word or work)... But your newsletter really got my attention.
It's very professional. I see it evolved from May 2005 to now and what a difference!!! You and the team are
doing a GREAT job in the body!!!  Keep up the great work. I was truly blessed.
P.R.- Florida

Ms. Rekesha, thank you for doing such a great job with the newsletter.  It is so full to overflowing with a wealth
of information.  I feel very blessed to be on your mailing list.

Your newsletter has been a great blessing to me. I've shared it with a few of the girls on my church dance
team and they love it too. Thank You for allowing the Lord to speak through you with words to encourage my
soul. Thank you again.

This is my first time viewing the newsletter, though I have not read it completely, I will say, that it is excellent.
I gleaned quite a bit just browsing.  God Bless.
S. G.- Georgia

All I can say is that in my heart I feel the overwhelming love of God pouring forth as I read through the
newsletter.  God has anointed you to go forth in a spirit of excellence and to share the heart of God with those
who have an ear to hear what the Spirit of the Living God is saying to the Church.  Hallelujah!!!!! What a
blessing.  Thank you for the service and I praise God for the staff that you have serving as workers together
with you.  Many of the plans that were in my heart to do are being done by many that I see and know and some
that I do not know. May God continue to abundantly bless and keep and prosper you and the many ministries
that He allows you to pour into.
C.D.
When leadership gets overwhelming, I read the Old Testament. Particularly, the story of Moses as he leads God's
people out of Egypt. Moses had his hands full dealing with those folks. Actually, those people (God's children) were
MORE than a handful. God Himself wanted to rid Himself of their stubborn and complaining ways. It was Moses who had
to intercede (as you should be doing for those that GOD has placed under your watch) asking GOD to have mercy and
consider His promise made to Abraham as it relates to the children of Israel.

God loves all His children- even the ones that He has to put in time-out and spend extra time teaching them His ways.
He has to be very careful in whom He choices to watch after His babies (
for many are called but few are chosen). It is a
big responsibility that shouldn't be taken lightly (
to whom much is given, much is required). But God has graced His
leaders with the ability to deal with His children- both the stubborn and hard-headed- as well as the ones that are well-
mannered. Deal with each in a loving and gentle manner as GOD would.

Dance Leaders: Whether you lead 2 or 20 dancers, GOD called you to lead His people, just as He did Moses. Moses
was a great leader (he had some anger issues, but was great and greatly used of GOD). Although Moses led the
people as he followed after GOD, not all the people made it to the promise land. In fact, most of them died in the
wilderness, never seeing what GOD promised them. Why? Was Moses a horrible leader? No. Moses did all that he
could do for them (Interceded and tried to teach them the way of GOD- as leaders must continue to do). They refused,
and chose to do their own thing, so GOD judged them. You are charged to lead as you follow after GOD's heart,
treating all His children equally: with gentleness, kindness, long-suffering, patience... (as He would treat them because
you are an extension of Him). Leaders: Do what
you are required to do. The rest is up to them.

Oh-- and be ever so careful not to embarrass or mistreat those that are under you! I've had that happen to me once
and it hurts soooooo bad because it is coming from someone that you are looking up to, and that person (the leader) is
supposed to be looking out for you! Remember: Treat others the way you wanted to be treated. Speak to others in a
tone of voice you want to be spoken to. God is with you. When the people you lead are disobedient, hold your peace.
Hold your tongue and let the Lord fight your battle! Respond, don’t react. Wait. Be slow to speak. Avoid foolish
arguments and disputes. A ministry full of conflict and controversy is contrary to the Word of God.

Learn from Moses and don't let God's children frustrate you. Don’t go home angry and frustrated after your rehearsals.
Don’t get high blood pressure because of one person’s lies and behavior in the dance ministry. (They got Moses so
upset and frustrated Moses hit the rock instead of speaking like GOD told him to- causing Moses to miss his blessing.
But then again, Moses should have dealt with His anger problems earlier. Perhaps by the time he got to this point in the
story, he would not have reacted the way he did and GOD wouldn't have had to judge him too!).

Pray on your way to rehearsal. As a leader, you should be the first one at your rehearsal and pray through the room
where you are rehearsing. A leader leads best by example.

Assemblé - [a-sahn-BLAY]
Literally meaning to assemble, a movement where the first foot performs a battement
glissé/degagé, "swishing" out. The second foot then swishes under the first foot, thereby
launching the dancer into a jump. The feet meet together in mid-air and the dancer lands
with both feet on the floor at the same time.

A jump: plié, brushing working leg out. Bring both legs together ("assemble" them) while
in midair; land on both feet. The brush can be to the front, the side, or the back.

A Well Woman
by Sally B. Reynolds

We have yet to learn how to truly minister to the hurting; how to nurture the disenfranchised. We must learn to correct
without being judgmental. We must learn to provide true healing and true ministry in an atmosphere that is accepting
and loving.  Can we take the roads less traveled in order to heal our wounded sisters? Are we willing to sit and cry with
them, share with them, and strengthen them even though their lives are in situations we wouldn't dream of?

St. John 4 records the occasion where Jesus is in Judea in route to Galilee. Because of the geography and the
topography of Jerusalem, Jesus would have to take a road less traveled. Verse 4 states, "
He must needs go through
Samaria.
"  If the direct Northern route from Judea to Galilee was taken, passing through Samaria was a must. Samaria-
the hated locale of every Jew, the despised place of every Hebrew.  Samaritans were half-breeds, they were not
pedigree. They were a lower, mixed version of Judaism and authentic Jews hated them. The hate was so intense that
most Jews would travel South, go over and around the Dead Sea, walk parallel with the Sea of Galilee and then proceed
down into Galilee. Jesus, because of His calling, His mandate, and His ministry was willing to take the road less traveled.

He stops to speak with a woman- a woman! By all accounts, it was unlawful for a woman to speak to a man in public,
particularly in the heat of the day. Most Jewish men in their time of prayer and devotion would utter to God, "God I thank
thee, that I am not a woman."  Jewish women were considered a lower class of society and never mixed with men under
any circumstances. Jesus, because of his love for this woman, this soul, this hurting woman, takes the road less
traveled. She draws water from a well at least 50 to 80 feet deep. This is not customary. The women of the city would
draw water early in the morning while it was cool, and there discuss with other women the plans of the day and the
progress of their families. But this woman, because of her lifestyle, could not associate with these women. The
embarrassment and the ridicule was too great. Can’t you hear them saying…."Here she comes, that no good..."  Yes,
we are guilty of the same treatment when some women walk into our sanctuaries. We are not willing to stop our pride or
self-centeredness long enough to minister to troubled and hurting women.

This is not the way of Jesus. He risked going through places of ridicule, places of embarrassment, and places of pain.
He dares to deal with our pain, our questionable pasts. This woman was set free because Jesus took the road less
traveled. He had to go through Samaria… to minister to this woman. We also, must go through places of ill-repute.  In
order to minister effectively to other women, we must remember, ladies, where they are. We once were in some other
shape, form or fashion, and we must take the road less traveled to reach our hurting sisters as Jesus did for us.

Centennial Celebration

Bahamas
Palm Sunday
Weekend Celebration

Inheritors of the Promise:

In April I asked for special prayers as I traveled to minister & teach in the country of Nassau, Bahamas. I specifically asked, “Not only would
God show up mightily, but that we would completely exceed our expectations. That what is righteous and first belonged to God would be
restored graciously!” The prayers were for agreement with the theme,
Restoration of the Tabernacle of David – Restoring the Glory!

Brides of Christ, I am here to tell you that not only did God deliver every promise given in the secret place, but our lives continue to be
abundantly overwhelmed with all that He did during the five days of the Dance Praise & Worship Conference, Dance Concert, Palm Sunday
Dance Float Parade & the Dance Festival in Rawson Square.

Greater Love Ministries- Rev. Dr. Agnes Glinton, Pastor, was the host & organizer of this powerful event along with Genius Wells, J.P.,
Pastor
of Chapel on the Hill. A sincere and heartfelt "thank you" to all the people of Nassau who assisted in making this conference a God-
ordained success: Every Pastor, Preacher, host, usher, teacher, speaker, minister, dancer, and volunteer. So many people served with
willing hearts!

A few months ago I stated, “Look at what happens when you let God outside of the box so that He can open the windows of Heaven & pour
out a blessing!”  We truly asked God to do whatever He wanted & that His humble heavenly beings would be used however He wanted.  I
still can’t comprehend all that happened & is still happening in Nassau as a result of the obedience of doing God’s will.

The conference opened Wednesday evening with special singing, praising, dancing & worshipping before the Lord from
Greater Love
Ministries
. Pastor Wells welcomed us with loving arms of a father & opened his church to all attendees. He gave Pastor Agnes Glinton
free-reign to do what God called us to do in His sanctuary. He trusted & believed that we were on assignment from the Master. This is
unheard of – literally saints, how many of us can honestly say that we’ve been to churches (be it to preach, teach, dance or sing) and have
been given free reign – no holds barred? We knew at the moment that this was definitely God. Pastor Glinton had only met Pastor Wells
three weeks ago. That was just the first miracle. Pastor Glinton brought forth a life-changing word to all in the house – reminding us we’re
no ordinary dirt. This was just the first night of the glory cloud resting up on the Hill – Jehovah Shammah started this His way.

Thursday morning,
Rev. Dr. Rosetta Clare brought a Rhema word from the Throne Room. A modern day Deborah. Pastor Glinton spoke
truth at a special session for Pastors Only —
The Gate Keepers: Keeping The House In Order. The Pastors were excited about learning
what Praise & Worship (which entails dancing, singing, music and the Word) is all about. I honor the Most High that Pastors are trying to
bring dance into their places of worship where it is learned FIRST! Amen! My morning session on “The Call to Dance” brought deliverance
to parents & children. It was a powerful time in the Lord that brought deep thinking to those of us who know we are called. There is a heavy
cost attached to this calling from on high & because of the call, we must be delivered constantly from things that so easily beset us. What a
breakthrough! The luncheon with the Pastors, speakers & conference participants brought a time for questions & answers – lots of
knowledge. Thursday evening again was time spent before Abba as we worshipped the one true God.
Rev. Jerry Keller, Pastor of
Tabernacle Fellowship
in Whiteland, Indiana brought forth a powerful word. He brought their youth ministry comprised of about 15 young
men and women who truly worshipped in freedom. He stated they were so excited to be in the presence of so many who he could tell really
loved God.

Friday morning,
Pastor Genius Wells taught & preached on what it truly means to “worship in spirit and in truth.” The word was so powerful
that no one moved-- even the children were still. It was as if the voice of God was speaking directly to every participant individually, yet at the
same time collectively. The glory cloud rested upon God‘s chosen in that place on the Hill. The Holy Ghost so overwhelmed Pastor Wells
after he delivered a God-given message. After the word, he fell on his face before the Lord in the pews, with lifted hands crying out to
YHWH. MY, MY, MY, MY, MY! What would our places of worship be if Pastors came out of their “places in the pulpit,” sat amongst the
people, crying (I’m talking about crying so heartfelt and deep – your whole body a cry - where you can’t get up because the weight of the
glory is sooo heavy). {I must also add that Pastor Wells sat in the pews amongst the people the whole conference, day & evening
sessions}. Pastor Wells finally came out of that cloud, anointed everyone with oil & spoke a relevant Word into the lives of every participant
present – men, women, boys, and girls. The glory cloud was literally so thick & high above the clouds, that people were coming from
outside the four walls of the church to be blessed & to experience the Presence of the Most High. Again,
miracles! That is what the
Scriptures mean when they say,
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who
love him"
(1 Corinthians 2:9). God’s Presence manifested beyond comprehension - we could not move from that place.  We just sat and
reveled in His love. No other sessions were needed. This is what happens when we let go & let God.

Friday night,
Pastor Phalmon Ferguson, Senior Pastor of United Faith Ministries International, reminded us that we serve Jehovah-Jireh.
If we truly worship in spirit & in truth, Jehovah will do more than provide….Again, open windows. We ended the evening saying Yes to the
Father on our faces. What a way to close your eyes & rest in the Father’s love- while you sleep?

Saturday morning,
Min. Lolita Johnson, Dance Director & Member of the Praise & Worship Team, encouraged and enlightened us with a
word regarding praise and worship unto the King. Each conference participant participated in a choreography clinic & learned pageantry.
We worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Pastor James Lowe, Associate Pastor of Greater Love Ministries Int’l stated that it could
only have been God because what the pageantry piece participants learned only took two full-out tries to rehearse. He stated that at times it
could take dancers weeks & sometimes months to learn just one dance- and here we are learning a full 5 minute dance piece, involving
flags, banners, streamers, men, women, boys & girls with at least 8 different ministries (can someone shout ONE ACCORD?!) in less than
one hour. Go Jesus!

Saturday closing services in the evening provided what all of God’s people need – to simply worship forever, all night long. A beautiful
dance concert was the evening treat. The service opened with the pageantry piece learned earlier that day & so many were in amazement
at the wonder of God. A young man got
saved & stated, “I now know there is a God.” (Remember I asked, “Please pray that many souls will
be saved & that all will come to know Christ.”) The piece completely overtook him. Dancers from all over the island brought forth wonderful
ministry pieces unto the King.
Another miracle: One of the conference participants had not been able to walk for the past three months. She
could barely stand in the shower. The doctor told her it was some long-named disease. She attended this conference because she knew
God called her to dance, but she wanted to get understanding first. Little did she know that not only would God give her understanding, but
that He would also give her (and us) something we could truly understand – a reminder of His awesome power of healing. Did Christ not
tell us that we would do greater works? She came forth during the evening service & told us she was instantly healed, thanking Pastor
Glinton for the dynamic vision & me for my obedience for telling her to come forth in the dance, believing in her gift. She was dancing,
running & leaping all over the place WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!!

Sunday morning, we worshipped at
Greater Love Ministries and Pastor Glinton again brought forth a word to keep us grounded & living
holy as ministers of dance & children of the King. She preached & taught us that we were donkeys on a mission – to carry forth the Great
King. We had Christ riding our backs so we must remain steadfast & strong for this great task. We had special guests from China taping
the services to be shown in their country, as well as used as a cultural tool to bring the Chinese to the Bahamas. The producers taping
wanted their country to know that people in the country of the Bahamas were saved, kind, in a beautiful and loving country and wanted the
world to know it. Keep blowing my mind Abba Father! The Tabernacle will be restored the world over!

This service, as well as all others, was wondrous & filled with excitement as we prepared to participate in the
Palm Sunday Dance Float
Parade
Sunday afternoon. This is an outreach event with floats going through the city, and us marching through downtown, ending with all
the ministries dancing in Rawson Square. The excitement seemed to some to have died after service because it started raining –
unbelievable! It was as if the Heavens opened up. The rain came so fast & hard that we couldn’t drive. We all went to our respective homes
to pray that Jesus would allow us to re-create His triumphant entry into Jerusalem with our modern day version. There were so many who
didn’t know Him & needed to see Him visually as we were vessels used to bring His glory to Nassau. We finally all arrived at the Nassau
Sports Center about ½ hour later than planned because of the rain. It was still slightly raining & the sky was still very dark with ominous rain
clouds-- but we had a yet praise. We had faith that God would allow His parade to go forth. Beloved, I tell you that when the last truck arrived
for the parade, the sky opened with clouds of blue & gold & sunshine (son shine)!! We shouted unto our Saviour!

The drivers of the main truck which held the speakers & music dared the dancers while they waited out the rain under cover. They stated
that we would have to cancel the Float Parade because of the rain & they wanted to see “if our God would deliver us from the rain & make it
stop.” Did He not? It was unreal!!!
A miracle, sign and a wonder! Again the Chinese taped & so many people were blessed by the dancing
and the parade. We had people from England, US, Japan, etc., ask us about the flags, banners, garments, liturgical dance – just the
beauty of the Lord. So many people took videos & pictures. I believe it was like this when Christ rode upon the donkey – people came form
everywhere to see the Messiah.

Dancing Preachers, did the word tell us in Hebrews 2:4 "
While God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by
gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His own will.
Oh ye of little faith – do you honestly & truly believe that when you minister
throne room dances people will be instantly healed, delivered from oppressive spirits, captives set free? That those in bondage would no
longer be bound? That people will be saved??? I am here as a living witness to some and a reminder to others that when ministers who
love the Lord God with all their hearts and souls dance- dances borne of a pure heart- throne room worshippers, living without iniquity, with
all obedience to Elohim, it will be evidenced by signs and wonders, various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit. I can’t help but give all
Praise to the Lord!!! May the God we serve continue to ignite His passion & purpose in and through us!
