actually is a combination of two words: holy and day. Holy means special and set apart. We can share with our Pastor,
Creative Arts Director, Praise Team and other Leaders, what God has given us to demonstrate in Dance for this Holiday
Season.
THANKSGIVING
Giving thanks to God for all that he has done, bringing your church congregation to remember God and all that he has
done!
CHRISTMAS
Celebrating the Birth of Christ, by helping keep Christ in Christmas with festive Dance Presentations, skits and special
readings!

Bring in the New Year with special dance celebrations and show the congregation a few steps. Also present a big dance
processional and more…
Dancers it is the season when we can really use our creativity to win others to Christ. Our very presence can touch a
life through dance! We can use some of the following tools to help bring out the best in Ministry presentations:

~ Glorious Props
~ Decorations
Let's get busy, put our dancing shoes on and dance for our Savior!!!
for over 20 years. Sherry has been blessed to facilitate dance conferences, and is in the process of writing a book on the ministry of dance.
Dance Conference hosted by Rain Rein Reign Ministries at New Testament Church in Los Angeles, California on October 14th & 15th.
On Friday evening, the front and center attendees were given the “M & M’s” on Mission, Ministry, Music, and Movement. “Sound Advice”
was displayed on “Merging Media & Ministry,” and the 411 on “The Power Company” as a result of Dance Ministry Management was
applied with sanctification and holiness. I dare say all participated in consecrating themselves, their ministries, their gifts (and everything
else), to Jehovah Shammah to forgive us and cleanse us that we might submit ourselves in commission and present back to Him this
end- time ministry in obedience and excellence. It was powerful!
Saturday morning provided for the posterity of Dance Ministry through a capacity-packed session exclusively for children, while the adults
got a “Power Surge” of Balance in Ministry and Relationships. “Real Men Dance” encouraged men to follow the example of King David who
desired the presence of God so much so that he danced and was not ashamed (Romans 1:16). He did not care who was watching . . . "Let
them praise His name in the dance." (Psalm 149:3). Need some David dancing men in your ministry? Call Irvin Picott for help- I am!
Saturday afternoon gave "Power Packed" travel tips that all dance ministry needs on the road would be provided for, and that you would not
be caught wanting when you get to your ministry destination. “Moved by His Power” presented Divine Choreography without enticing
words, but in powerful demonstration (1Corinthians 2:4) and practical application. Marlita Hill instructed us on the "Position of Power" by
explaining to us the Dance Minister's Position in the House. We got a dose of "Holy Ghost Power" from Amanda Maxie that we will not soon
forget!
During this conference we “Gift Wrapped” in excellence and were packed with all the essentials for a dance ministry. We took advantage of
the vendors who displayed all manner of garments and instruments of praise that would beautify the temple and glorify God. God was able
to receive gifts at the evening concert that began with a procession of all the ministries in concert.
What He was able to unwrap and present at concert time to a capacity packed crowd I don’t have words adequate to explain. I can say that
the devil was defeated, God’s purpose was fulfilled and in “The Firmament of His Power” we experienced His awesome wonder! From the
babies to the hoary head generals the Lord blessed and I’m sure He was pleased.
I would venture to say to you Praise God for his audio visual ministers like Bro. Matthew Pittman, Bro. Derek Johnson , Rev. Fred
Washington, and Bro. Edward Moreno! Because of you we will be able to get the taped version, be it DVD, or CD. God truly Rained down
blessings, He Reined us in, and in our midst He Reigned on the throne at this conference.

Now let me ask you, how is your “gift” wrapped, and what will God find inside? Do you even know? Get the DVD. Get the CD. Find out how
to present a pleasing gift to the King eternal so that what you bring Him will not be wood, hay, or stubble that burns like chaff and is blown
away in the wind.
